Underground England — a name synonymous with the British rock n roll culture — kicked into fame in the 1980s with a punk-inspired footwear collection. The brand has since evolved into a fashionable high-street label, and of late, been picked up regularly by the press and fashion bloggers.

Originally called the Brothel Creepers, the creeper shoes got their name from British soldiers returning from the WWII, who found their way through disreputable nightspots of London, still wearing their crepe-soled shoes. Creepers were eventually adopted by progressive generations, and clothed the feet of Teddy Boys, the Rockabillys and Punk Rockers.

Actually is proud to present Saught, a social enterprise which creates products from landmines and unexploded ordnance (UXOs) to support sustainability in post-conflict countries. Saught’s inaugural collection comprises of arange of jewelry designed by students from Temasek Polytechnic School of Design featuring products in three collections, each dedicated to represent a specific issue prevalent in post conflict countries: Freedom from War, Freedom from Poverty and Freedom from Fear. Artisans from Cambodia NGO workshops gain income and build their skills which leads to consumer awareness by creating a product which conveys its story.

All cousu de fil blanc artisanal soaps are hand-made in the workshops of a master soap maker. To 100% vegetable bases, raw materials of the highest quality is added — vegetable oils of organic extraction, clays, mountain made honey, essential oils, seaweed…All of the ingredients have been chosen with the utmost care.

A penchant for the monstrous and symbolic, Daniel Palillo is staying inside his signature aesthetic where enormous propotions meet the three‐dimensional structures and morbid graphics‐ the new designs take the trademark patchworks and cutouts on another level, stretching in both shape and size, and without a doubt crazier than his A/W 2011 creations, never mind the introduction of basic colours the black humour remains.
